How to Lose Weight-Bore Yourself Skinny?
In The God-Man Book, Mark Hamilton suggested a monotonous diet as the key to weight loss and maintenance. He advised readers to choose a few favorite dishes—one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner—to eat for the rest of their lives in an effort to lose weight and keep it off.
A recent study, to be published in the August issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, shows that he may have been on to something. It seems that if offered the same foods over and over, people began to lose weight due to a tendency to eat less. Of course, while this really shows that eating fewer calories is still one of the most proven methods of weight loss, this method of getting people who do not know how to lose weight fast by eating fewer calories seems to be worth exploring. Rather than having to count calories, the participants in the study began to eat fewer calories on their own after being offered the same meal daily for about a week.
