Agapeosis (ah-GAH-pe-OH-sis) means “becoming love” or “being transformed with love.” Agapeosis is a combination of the Biblical Greek word agápé, which means divine or brotherly/sisterly love, and the suffix -osis, indicating a process of transformation or becoming. No matter who you are, God has called you to grow in love and become a vessel and a wellspring of the love that comes from heaven.
Founded in summer 2009, Agapeosis Fellowship is a unique nondenominational Christ-centered spiritual community in Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated to helping people discover the spark of God’s unconditional love within themselves and sharing and manifesting this love in our lives and relationships with others. Spirit-filled, open-minded, all-inclusive — a church like no other!
Looking to the radical example of Jesus and the wise insights of prophets and saints throughout history from all cultures, we celebrate the universal Spirit of faith in a passionate and eclectic style that will open your heart and mind to the ongoing journey of transformation that God has purposed for every human being.
